Cyanotypes create one off images that are a record of a particular moment; they are created by exposing pre-coated paper to light. Depending on the levels of sunlight at the particular time of day and the length of exposure time no 2 prints are ever identical..

The prints are a perfect way to capture the ephemeral nature of time, location and the experience of being in a particular environment.

Cyanotypes sometimes called ‘sun prints’ discovered by John Herschel are one of the oldest photographic techniques. Read more about them here
